HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Heather has moved to the prestigious Royall's Yard at Hoveton for the duration. The boat is sheltered between a strange medley of characterful and less sympathetic buildings, constructed on piles on the reclaimed marshland below Wroxham Bridge. In this location we have ample suppliers to help with repairs and refurbishment.

Flying proudly aloft of the yard is the Royall's modern pennant bearing a Saxon crown. Smart pennant flags were once emblematic of the individual boatyard companies and yachts of the Broads......
