HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Summer activities on the northern rivers

This summer season we are looking at trying new and different things with Heather. On Sunday 23 June from 10am to 5pm, the boat will be moored on the edge of peaceful South Walsham Inner Broad (at the Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden) for their annual Green Festival. This year is billed as the largest ever, packed with fun activities for all the family.

On advertised weekends in July and August, the houseboat will be open at various accessible moorings. We will join the Ludham Bridge Open Week held beside the River Ant from the 3 to 11 August. This event is free (with donations to charity.) There will be music, barbecue, competitions and more.

Times and dates may be added and change.
