HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Riverside water bird food booth update

We are thankful to Ian at the King's Head Hotel for the recovery of the folding table from their grounds. I'm grateful to the local community and visitors for their kind words of support and offers of help by some residents to monitor the water bird booths.

  2. Apologies for the late reply. A large proportion of the proceeds generated from our water bird food outlets go directly towards the houseboat and associated conservation and artistic projects.

Heather is officially registered on the National Historic Small Boat Register and is now one of oldest and most rare types of craft in Broadland. I hope this answers you enquiry, please contact us if you require any further information. Regards, Chris
