Roses of England

A woollen Tudor rose badge was made by Hoveton makers Moss and Waffle Crafts for St George's Day. The dual rose emblem of an outer red and central white rose was first created by the intriguing Tudor monarch King Henry VII, when both feuding Royal houses of Lancaster and York were finally united by marriage. The badge is so symbolic it was even used as the central motif of Her Majesty's Yacht Britannia.
