HEATHER
Welcome to Heather
Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.
Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.
Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Wildfowl welfare
Following Government guidelines and advice from Hallswood Animal Sanctuary, the Norfolk based wildlife organisation, we have decided to reopen the water bird food booth by Granary Wharf. Please respect social distancing of 2 metres around the riverside.
Concerns have been raised over the health and wellbeing of local mute swans and other wildfowl ~ as so few people are feeding the birds during the corona virus pandemic.
All of the water bird food bags are carefully prepared according to Governmental health advice. Larger quantities of our wholesome blended food are now available from the wharf emporium website and free local delivery can be arranged.
For more information about Hallswood, or to report an injured animal please visit: hallswood.co.uk
