HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Unexpected beauty on the Bure

Even on a dull day there's something fascinating to see on the river. Laying side on to historic Granary Quay, Hoveton is FAYMORE registration number B408. She is a Hoveton~Wroxham timber built motor cabin cruiser and was previously chartered.

The posing female mute swan sports an orange tag with a black three alpha~numeric code fitted to monitor population of the species across Europe.
