HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Saving the Swans for perpetuity

High quality Save Our Swans enamelled pin badges with a funky original design by artist Mark are now available from a host of outlets by the River Bure ~ in Horning, Hoveton and Wroxham.

Proceeds from the sale of the badges go to the Marine and Wildlife Rescue charity, which works constantly to help injured animals in the region.

The badges are launched in response to the devastating Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) outbreak that enveloped Broadland in autumn 2022. Fruition of this fundraising project is a culmination of months of work and coordination between passionate people including Mary~Anne and Andrew.
