Bizarre tales at Christmastide 🌿 Peafowl walking abroad

Extravagant festive bauble in the form of a peacock. A few years ago an Indian blue peafowl made an unlikely home on the greens around Littlewood Lane junction with Stalham Road in Hoveton St Peter.

Some dark elements took exception to the showy bird. In a cold calculating manner the peacock was dispatched by decapitation. Was this a territorial conflict, or fear of the rapturous reputation of peafowl... Perhaps one day ~ without meaning to sound sanctimonious the truth will be revealed and justice served.
