Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Hoveton Main Street in times gone by


A beautiful and true to life art work by Hoveton local Nick Walmsley Esq is now on view at Hoveton Village Hall ~ looking from the brow of Wroxham Bridge towards Hoveton, with charming cabin shops on parallel King's and Granary river staithes. The scene is the 1930s whe Hoveton and Wroxham were celebrated as the 'Venice of Britain'.
