HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Illuminating Hoveton cum Wroxham

The main thoroughfare of Hoveton and Wroxham either side of the bridge will have a sequence of festive lights for the very first time.

Victoria Henson explains:

"The project is made up of a not-for-profit team of volunteers that have been working hard all year trying to bring some Christmas cheer to the villages of Hoveton and Wroxham..

We have big plans and obviously the more money we raise the more spectacular the event will be.

We are hoping to have a tree with lights on with carols and mulled wine and more lights throughout the villages. And who knows, Santa might even make an appearance!

It’s the first time there’s really been an event like this and we want to make it something the capital of the Broads community can be proud of."
