HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Seasonality

The waterfowl booths have picnic bags filled with an improved seasonal mix ~ rich in protein, calcium, fat and vitamins for colder months of the year.

Ingredients include dried corn kernals, cut grass, calci worms and shellfish and wheat pellets.

We recommend offering the food straight onto, or by the water. This enables waterfowl to digest food while supping water, as they do in the wild.
