HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Annual mass waterfowl feed

Granary Staithe quayside in Hoveton is the location of the annual festive feed to the herds of waterfowl living on the Upper River Bure.

Join us from 3.00pm on Saturday 28th December and help scoop some food to give to the mute swans, greylag geese and ducks.

See the new water bird information panels and meet rescuers who help look after local wildlife.

○ This event is free.
