A hundred welcomes

Today, a friendly couple on holiday from Todmorden in West Yorkshire came to Hoveton expressly to see and feed the mute swans. They were undeterred by hungry gulls who swarmed round to muscle in on the activity. Kindly Andrea, a swan ambassador travelled from Thetford to catch up with the water birds. Andrea said there are around eleven mute swans living on the River Thet at the present.
