HEATHER
Welcome to Heather
Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.
Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.
Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Rolling resolutions
A fresh year brings new prospects, leaving behind a buoyant season for Heather, with a few very minor obstacles along the way.
Several young children and parents gleefully took part in a big wildfowl feeding session over the Christmas holiday ~ an initiative which helps people connect collectively with nature.
Plans are moving forward to sympathetically modernise the houseboat. There are exciting ideas on the creative and shop front too. A pair of 'green folk' Heather socks, designed by Hoveton artist Karen are a sample of the kind of good things we hope to offer in the future.
