HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

COVID~19 (Coronavirus) updated bulletin

To help halt the spread of coronavirus, the water bird food booths are now closed for a sustained period in accordance with Government directions. Waterside paths remain open, however distancing measures should be adhered to. The Station Road~Free Moorings lavatories are now closed.

An online shop will be launched shortly where water bird food bags and a broadening range of items will be available.

Both the health and wellbeing of people and local wildfowl are very important to us. Heather's team are monitoring the water birds and helping to keep them well fed.

We look forward to welcoming regular and new visitors to the Hoveton and Wroxham riverside in the future and wish everyone the very best of health.

Andrew, Chris, Timothy
