HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Chris's late Grandmother Ellen, was born 100 years ago on 22nd June.

Ellen was an indomitable guiding light, with a love of classical style. During World War 2 she trained as a skilled engineer in Sheffield and later became a secretary. Her creativity was put to good use at the luxury Skipton store of Brown Muff and Company of Bradford during the 1970s. We also greatly miss Gran's scones and other home baked delicacies.
