HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Creamwashing the truck

The wheeled truck is being tidied up ready to be used as a physical emporium again. Inside the curvy truck cabin, rusted metalwork has been treated and coats of calming cream paint cover over the faded scarlet ~ shades of Moley from Wind in the Willows spring cleaning his burrow with whitewash. We are now using water based paint in place of oil paint. This is more flexible and suitable for the environment.

Next, the exciting part of working out how to display the products, in readiness for opening on the waterside.
