HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Horning waterfowl club

Heather blended water bird food is now available at Clubhouse Horning ~ a chilled cafe, bar and restaurant almost encircled by water on Ferry Road, Horning, a few miles from Hoveton~Wroxham.

There are a few access points to the river in the village ~ from staithes to boat stations. Look out for the attractive native mallard ducks!

The paper bags and pots are ideal to take on a boat cruise. On the open river below Horning plucky ducks are well known to fly down on to the top of boats navigating the Bure to seek food and friendship.

We believe in friendly collaboration with hospitality businesses like the family run Clubhouse ~ a favourite of locals.
