HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Bask in the sun by the River Bure

Glorious sunshine makes Hoveton and Wroxham an the ideal place to bask on waterside greens, watch boats and wildlife paddle along the River Bure.

Find a tempting array of outlets along the streets and sidewalks, including not for profit stalls.

Picture shows the former Assembly Rooms (now Grey's building) built a century ago near Wroxham Bridge by Mr Arnold Roy, retail maestro and dedicated philanthropist.
