Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Wherrying planters from wharf to wharf


Some planters were wherried from wharf to wharf while mute swans in season squabbled on the water.

Planters full of shrubs and flowers help brighten and beautify the villages and are wonderful for wildlife such as bees and insects.
