HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Missing quack pots

On Saturday 29th May a tray of quack pots went walkabout from the riverside booth at Horseshoes Corner, Hoveton between around 11.30am to 1.00pm. There were around 10 in total standing in a green cardboard tray box. It is highly unusual for a large quantity to go at once.

For the last few years, especially in the holiday season there appears to be a pattern of mischief ~ whereupon any change that takes place on Heather's outlets, either vandalism, moving things around, or thefts occurs. Sadly, this may be part of a personalised grudge by a local person.
