HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Blooming hops

Did you know hops (Humulus) grow beside Wroxham Bridge... The bine plant has stout hairy stems that help it grow in height, similar to vines. Hops have been used for medicinal purposes and of course brewing of beer for centuries.

Find a handful of hostelries for a refreshing pint ~ or other tipples of choice a stone's throw from the graceful arch of the bridge.
