The houseboat and waterfowl on the Upper River Bure appear in a charmingly fun book by Laura Calver, creator and manager of Buoyancy Bikes, the colourful pedal powered boat company founded in Wroxham.
An adventurous mute swan called Sparkle Elstripes swims along the river encountering lots of friends and features. The picture book is full of superb illustrations by Penny Frances. Amongst the neat rhyming narrative are laced helpful educational sound bites for children.
