Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Truck update






We are very sad to report the forced eviction of the rescue and interpretation truck from Hoveton Broads Riverside Centre near Wroxham Bridge.

The removal of the rescue post means there is now no direct facility to help mute swans and other wildlife who roost principally on Granary quayside.
