Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Greylag booth renewal


The greylag booth by the River Walk in Hoveton has been improved with a weather canopy made by metal maestro Peter at local firm Broadland Products up the road. After structural works it was freshened up with cream paint and black boards ~ replicating the style and it is hoped some of the charm of lightweight buildings and indeed carts in the not too distant past.
