HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Repairs at Royall's Boatyard

Heather laying in the strops of the gantry at Royall's Boatyard, Hoveton. The after part of the hull was checked by Nigel Royall to assess its condition following her haul out in 2011. The stern post had a minor leak and has been repaired by replacing two ancient steel bolts.

Check out Heather's last visit to Royall's Boatyard, custom punt building and other work of this long established boatyard on their Blog: royallsboatyard.blogspot.com
