HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

There nay be dragons

Collect a St George of England clip on flag for free on the Hoveton riverside cart a few minutes distance from Wroxham Bridge.

Essentially created as a crusading war banner by the Plantagenet dynasty ~ some of whose descendants include the Trafford family of Wroxham Home Farms. The scarlet cross on a white field displaced the earlier and more mytical symbols of the dragon and white horse that represented southern Britain.
