HEATHER

Welcome to Heather

Houseboat of character, docked in Hoveton by the River Bure on the Norfolk Broads Waterways.

Heather is cared for by a partnership of friends and family. Our aim is to preserve the distinctive style of the houseboat and enable future generations to enjoy her charms.

Explore the riverside, browse the shops and places to eat and drink ~ and much more beyond monumental Wroxham Bridge.

Pride on the pavements

Reflecting upon a grand year past. Bobby was a guest of Mr John Shilton at the superb Clippesby Hall Park in May. The well kept grounds begin at an attractive entrance drive lined by flagstaffs.

From May new scarlet Carolean banners were hoisted. Many moons ago the main street from the bridge up to Roys Stores in Hoveton was similarly presented with coloured banners, albeit with more buildings, when the village was celebrated as the "Capital of Broadland" and even the "Venice of Britain".
